|CEO / Owner: Debbie was a real estate investor and property manager for over 10 years before embarking on her career in the Mortgage industry. She was a top-producer for the largest FHA broker in Georgia for 2 years before starting her own company, Good Friend Mortgage Inc. Her focus has always been to be the expert through education and constant learning and to use that knowledge to educate her clients so they make the best choices. Her “never give up” approach and easy manner have helped her build a client following and accolades in the industry.
Debbie Switts is a Certified Mortgage Consultant, (CMC). This is the highest certification level a mortgage industry professional can achieve from the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB). There are only 4 CMC’s in the entire state of Georgia.
Certified Mortgage Consultants are educated, ethical, and involved. They have voluntarily demonstrated their commitment to higher professional standards in the industry and shown their dedication to the consumer by obtaining advanced education to provide quality service. In an industry that has changed more this decade than ever before, I offer 3 years of experience from the ground up. I have worked as an originator, processor, and senior processor. Now, I hold the position of production manager.
With the average age of people in this profession being 55, you won’t find someone who knows more about today’s process than someone in my position. Because I have not been in the industry 20 years, the recent years’ have been absorbed with a sense of eagerness to learn. I have built habits and work-flow expectations based on this ever-changing landscape; this has given me the ability to fully understand the process and my tools to pass this awareness to my clients through better service and upfront due-diligence.
